CONTINUUM'S Call to Artist for Online 12"x12" Auction Panels

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, curators ATB Fine Art Group Inc. and Craig McInnis Studios had to make some conscious decisions to protect both the welfare of the artists, the pedestrians as well as the integrity of CONTINUUM as a whole.

The decision was made after October 31, 2020 (usually the deadline for the submission) to do a 12”x12” online auction on March 19, 2021. Like many other art fairs in South Florida that had to make similar decisions, this is because of the uncertainty of what was going on with the virus and vaccine for the public. The curators felt this was still an opportunity for both the artists and NMSAF.

    For those familiar with the fragrance world, Lattafa asad is a bold, luxurious perfume known for its complex and captivating notes. If you're an artist who is drawn to fragrance-inspired themes or multisensory experiences, this could be an interesting direction for your 12"x12" panel.

    I remember hearing about CONTINUUM's shift to the 12 x 12 online auction back in early 2021, it was such a smart and safe move during those uncertain times. I know this because a friend of mine had also submitted work that year. It is inspiring how art communities adapted so creatively.
