The 25,000 square foot space provides a unique experience for collectors, designers, curators, art aficionados and the everyday consumer. Since joining the Cultural Council in 2018, he has worked to rebrand the Council, build a robust artist services team, restructure the Council’s programs and services, and launch two new initiatives to provide direct funding to the cultural sector. He created the Artist Innovation Fellowship program, awarding 11 Palm Beach County artists to date with career-enhancing funding and opportunities, and the Cultural Resiliency Fund to help organizations recover post pandemic. In 2021, he led the development of the first Arts & Tourism Summit for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion for Palm Beach County. Dave was awarded the Vision 2020 Award by Art Synergy and for the last three years, he has been named one of Palm Beach County’s most influential business leaders in Palm Beach Illustrated’s The Palm Beach 100.

Prior to relocating to South Florida, Dave served as the President & CEO of the Arts Council of Indianapolis. Dave was named a Sagamore of the Wabash, one of Indiana’s highest honors, by Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb.

Evan Snow- Being one of those rare "Native South Floridian's" hailing from Broward County, Evan Snow takes a lot of pride in his community. With a passion for The Arts, Culture, Community, and now yoga - Evan has been pursuing his passions by doing work that he finds not only rewarding & fulfilling, but that can impact his community.

These are some of the reasons why he started Choose954, a social movement aimed to Cultivate Culture & Community in Broward, which lead to Art Fort Lauderdale - THE "Art Fair On The Water" aimed to help elevate the arts locally in his community while putting FTL on the Art World map as an international destination to view & interact with art. While the art fair had to take a pause due to COVID, Evan still continues the annual Fort Lauderdale Art & Design Week that launched in 2018.

These initiatives lead to the creation of Zero Empty Spaces (ZES), an initiative to activate vacant commercial real estate locations to make affordable artist studio spaces starting @ $2.50/sqft on a month-to-month basis. In its first 3 years ZES has grown to 27 locations in 6 counties between 2 states with over 300 artists having worked in formerly vacant spaces with national expansion plans underway to support the commercial real estate crisis & communities across the country to use the arts as a problem solver.

Tracy Guiteau Selected as The 37th Artigras Fine Arts Festival Commemorative Poster Artist

WEST PALM BEACH ARTIST TRACY GUITEAU SELECTED AS

THE 37th ARTIGRAS FINE ARTS FESTIVAL
COMMEMORATIVE POSTER ARTIST

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Florida – With her passion for art guiding her, this year’s ArtiGras Fine Arts Festival commemorative poster artist Tracy Guiteau has forged an impressive collection of work which includes being hand-picked by top tennis player Naomi Osaka and iconic athlete LeBron James’ digital media company for an art collaboration during Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

“I'm grateful and honored to be chosen as the ArtiGras poster artist this year,” said Guiteau, who lives in West Palm Beach and has been showing her artwork at shows for a few years, but this will be the first time she has been selected as the official poster artist for an event. “This will expand my artistic perspective with new experiences as well as to offer important representation that will encourage artists within our community to pursue their artistic vision.”

The commemorative poster is based on her colorful-acrylic painting title “Blossoming You” which was born from Guiteau experiences during the last two years.

“The idea for the poster came from experiencing the pandemic alone,” said Guiteau, who has many geographical and cultural influences in her work from her own Haitian heritage as well as her experiences studying art across the country and abroad. “The journey of " Blossoming You" into who you are is embedded with obstacles and hardship, but overcoming each struggle reveals new growth.”

Guiteau didn’t always think being an artist was going to be her profession, until one day a math teacher recommended that she follow her artist spirit after noticing her schoolbooks brimming with drawings. After graduating from the New World School of the Arts High School in Miami, she pursued a degree from the Rhode Island School of Design. Her passion for art has led her to many adventures including being exhibited internationally and at Miami Art Basel.

Patrons of ArtiGras will be able to meet Tracy Guiteau and buy the official poster at the 37th ArtiGras Fine Arts Festival presented by Hanley Foundation and produced by Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce. The festival will run from February 19-20 at the Gardens North County District Park in Palm Beach Gardens. The outdoor arts event showcases a juried exhibition of outstanding fine art along with activities which include artist and chef demonstrations, the Baptist Heath Youth Art Competition Gallery and the Amazon ArtiKids Zone. Tickets are only $11 per day with advance purchase and children 12 and under are free. More information can be found at artigras.org.
